Who we are

Brockton Insurance Agency, Inc. is an independent insurance agency in Stoughton, Massachusetts, licensed by the Massachusetts Division of Insurance. Independent means we represent several insurance companies rather than one, and we compare their offers on your behalf. We can only sell, service, or advise on insurance in the states where we hold a licence.

Nothing on this site binds coverage

Sending a form on this site, emailing us, texting us, or leaving a voicemail does not purchase, change, renew, or cancel any insurance policy. Coverage is bound only when a licensed agent confirms it to you, and a policy exists only once the insurance company issues it.

This matters most for the things people most often assume are done: adding a vehicle or a driver, changing an address, adding a mortgage company, or cancelling a policy. If you need any of those to take effect by a particular time, call 508-583-9090 and speak to someone. Do not assume it is done until we have told you it is.

Quotes are estimates

A quote is based on what you tell us and on the insurance company’s rates at the time. The final premium can differ once the company completes underwriting — checking driving records, claims history, the details of a property, and so on. A quote is not a promise of a price and does not by itself create coverage.

Information, not a policy

What you read on this site is general information about insurance and about the agency. It is not a policy, does not change the terms of any policy, and is not legal or financial advice. Your policy documents describe your actual coverage. If this site and your policy say different things, the policy governs.

Claims

We do not decide or pay claims — your insurance company does. The claims numbers on the Current customers page go directly to the companies. Report a claim to your company; call us if you want help understanding the process or what to expect.

Links to other sites

We link to insurance companies, their payment and claims portals, the Massachusetts RMV, and Google Maps. Those are separate organisations with their own terms and their own privacy practices. We link to them because they are useful; we do not control them and are not responsible for what they do.

Communicating with us

Forms and email. Please do not send Social Security numbers, driver’s licence numbers, dates of birth, or bank or card details through this site or by email. We will never ask for them that way. When an application needs that information, a licensed agent collects it by phone or in person.

Texting. The texting line is for you to reach us. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply. If we ever send you a text you did not ask for, reply STOP and we will stop.

Our privacy policy explains what happens to the information you do send.

Customer reviews

The customer quotes on this site are taken from public reviews on our Google Business Profile. Some may be shortened for space. None of them were paid for.

Accuracy

We try to keep this site accurate — the insurance companies we represent, their phone numbers, our hours — and those things change. If you find something wrong, tell us and we will fix it. We are not liable for a decision made on the basis of something on this site rather than on your policy documents or a conversation with a licensed agent.

Ownership

The text, design, and illustrations on this site belong to Brockton Insurance Agency, Inc.. Insurance company names and logos belong to those companies and appear here only to identify the companies we work with.

Governing law

This site is operated from Massachusetts and these terms are governed by Massachusetts law.
