What we built

• Every page works with a keyboard alone, and the element you are on is always visibly outlined.
• Text and background colours meet the AA contrast ratio everywhere, including on buttons and the dark footer.
• Every image has a text alternative, and decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
• Text can be enlarged to 200% in a desktop browser without anything being cut off, and on a phone the page reflows to fit a screen 320 pixels wide. Enlarging the text alone to 200% on a screen that narrow can push a phone number past the edge — if that happens, the same number is in the footer as plain text and in the dark bar at the bottom of the screen.
• Buttons and links on phones are at least 44 pixels tall — big enough for a thumb.
• Form fields have visible labels, errors are announced and appear next to the field they belong to, and nothing relies on colour alone.
• Animation is turned off for anyone whose device asks for reduced motion.
• Each page declares its language, so screen readers pronounce Portuguese, Spanish, and Creole correctly rather than reading them as English.
• Headings are in order, so a screen reader can skip through a page by structure.

What we know is not perfect

• The map in the footer is provided by Google and is not fully keyboard-accessible. The address is written out in text right beside it.
• The Portuguese, Spanish, and Creole versions of this site were translated with the help of software and reviewed by people. They may contain mistakes. The note below explains this in each language.
• Insurance company logos are images. Each one carries the company name as its text alternative, and the same companies are listed in plain text on the Current customers page.
• This page and the other legal pages are published in English only. Call us and we will explain them in your language.

There is nothing on this site that we cannot do with you over the phone instead — a quote, a policy change, a claims number — so you are never stuck.

If you tell us about a barrier, we will try to fix it, and we will tell you what we did.

How this was checked

The site was tested with keyboard-only navigation, at screen widths from 320 to 1280 pixels, with text enlarged to 200% at desktop widths, with reduced-motion preferences on, and with automated checks for horizontal overflow, overlapping text, contrast, text alternatives, tap-target size, and heading order — on the production build, in every language. The one known gap is described above.

This page is published in English. The note below says the same thing in each of the four languages this site is offered in.
